Since graduating in the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic, I’ve been freelancing as a writer and filmmaker, now under Eisen Media Services LLC. You may look at my resume and think: Why all the different fields, topics, and niches? The answer is simple: I love learning and researching. This quality of mine gives me an incredible set of skills in problem-solving, researching, and critical thinking. Take this website, for example, which I built with HTML and CSS because I wanted to learn to code and was sick of paying massive fees for WYSIWYG platforms.
The long and short of it is that if I want to solve a problem, I learn everything I can and build the skills I don’t already have. That’s why I love filmmaking. It flexes both the technical and creative sides of my brain, at the same time. It’s also why I want to pivot my freelance writing to technical writing and decode complex topics to put them in a form that anyone can read. So, if you’re looking for a writer who is willing to give it all they have for your project, you’ve found one.
Where can I see some of your work?
Lots of freelance writing is 100% owned by the client, which means I don’t have the rights to share it publicly. Lots of this work is for major players in the data science, IT, networking, and education spaces.
The writing and editing work I can show, including personal projects, social media contnet wrtiting, and video editing work are below.

For marketing The Lovers (2023), I created social media graphics, 9x16 reels, captions, trailers, and YouTube videos. I also utilized YouTube SEO research to optimize titles, descriptions, and thumbnails, with the film garnering over 86K+ views lifetime.
In releasing The Lovers (2023), having a Blu-Ray available was important to me as I’m a collector myself. With the discontinuation of various DVD authoring programs, I got myself an old copy of DVD Architect Pro and authored a Blu-Ray for the film. Additionally, I designed the cover, layout, and wrote the copy.
This research project takes a radical approach to filmmaking and the art of cinema. Utilizing Marxist political economy, cultural criticism, Mark Fisher’s ideas of capitalist realism and acid communism, and more we will explore a radical alternative to capitalist filmmaking.

Over the past few years I’ve gotten freelance roles from Upwork. I’ve done color grading, podcast editing, video editing, podcast writing, and scriptwriting.
“Parker wrote an excellent script for my podcast, full of interesting content, nice use of language, and showing a great understanding of what I wanted. He communicated well, was reliable and asked good questions to refine the brief. I would highly recommend working with Parker to anyone looking for high-quality and engaging writing.”
For my debut feature film The Lovers I designed and built the entire set. I created a short “how-to” tips video detailing the process. I wrote the YouTube script, shot the video, edited, and designed the thumbnail. You can view the video here:
I've edited multiple podcasts using DaVinci Resolve to create dynamic layouts, graphics, and high-quality audio. You can view some them below.
